Martina is a Research Fellow in Turbomachinery Aerodynamics. She defenced her Ph.D. dissertation at the University of Florence in April 2020.

Research Projects & Areas Of Interest

The interests of Martina's research are focused on the development and use of Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) with a special emphasis on turbomachinery design and analysis, particularly gas and steam turbines, and axial compressors.

European Project

Martina is currently involved in the following European Community Research Project:
  • TURBO-REFLEX (TURBOmachinery REtrofits enabling FLEXible back-up capacity for the transition of the European energy system, 2017-2020).
